Supply & Demand Chain Executive, the only publication covering the entire global supply chain, named Anders Lillevik, CEO and Founder of Focal Point, as one of the winners of the 2023 Pros to Know award.
The annual Pros to Know award recognizes outstanding executives whose accomplishments offer a roadmap for other leaders looking to leverage the supply chain for competitive advantage.
“This year’s list is filled with supply chain professionals whose achievements and success stories have helped move the needle in the supply chain. They promote safety, sustainability, and workforce development. They work toward helping heal the supply chain. They’re actually in the supply chain,” says Marina Mayer, Editor-in-Chief of Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Food Logistics. “We received close to 400 nominations this year, the highest number of nominations ever for this award. It’s proof that today’s supply chain professionals are doing great things for the supply chain. They embody what a true leader should be. And, without their initiatives, programs, and collaborative efforts, today’s supply chains would be in worse shape.”
With over 25 years of experience in supply chain and procurement, serving as the Chief Procurement Officer at Fannie Mae, Anders Lillevik is using his industry expertise to impact the future of both supply chain management and procurement orchestration. Focal Point’s technology was designed with procurement’s specific challenges in mind, where data is often fragmented across an enterprise.
“As procurement professionals, we have the power to make a positive impact on our organization’s bottom line and beyond. By leveraging technology, data, and collaboration, we can create sustainable and resilient supply chains that not only drive cost savings but also promote ethical practices and social responsibility,” said Anders Lillevik. “Being selected as a Pro to Know by S&DC Executive alongside other individuals making an impact is an honor and demonstrates the growing innovations in supply chain management and the impact they can have on business outcomes and the greater good of society.”
